Devours children, plays games with Asus Ares CG6150
The beast you see here is Asus’ first try at creating a ready-made gaming rig. Although the company has been closely associated with PC gaming via their high-end motherboards and graphics cards for some time now, they’ve never actually produced a gaming computer.
There hasn’t been any information publicly disclosed as of yet however, Engadget has learned that the first Ares will sport the latest in Core 2 Duo Extreme CPU’s with up to 8GB of DDR3 memory, support for nVidia’s three-way SLI, four Terabytes of storage, and two Power Supply Units. All of this tech goodness and graphics prowess will be cradled inside a liquid-cooled case closely resembling those of Alienware.
