Gmail Has a Sending Limit
And who would’ve thought that even e-mails have a sending limit? We know that there are caps on the file sizes of attachments and that you have more-or-less a 6GB limit in your mailbox space but a sending limit? Probably to safeguard using the system for spamming. Exceed the limits and you get a lockdown. That means no Gmail for you for quite some time.
Digital Inspiration compiled the 4 ways in which you can get your account locked down. In summary:
* Maximum of 100 people at a time with Gmail via POP or IMAP clients
* Maximum of 500 addresses in your To:, Cc:, and BCC: fields with Gmail via web browser
* Failed deliveries due to large number of broken e-mails (25?)
* Nine-month long stagnant account (permanently disabled account)
So if you don’t want the hassles of getting your account locked down, better follow these rules. Still, who sends out e-mail to more than a hundred people at a time anyway using a free e-mail service?

Also, wenn Sie nicht wollen, dass die Probleme bekommen Ihr Konto gesperrt, besser sind folgende Regeln zu beachten. Still, sendet E-Mail an mehr als hundert Menschen zu einer Zeit ohnehin mit einem kostenlosen E-Mail-Dienst?
