Student wins a laptop in national financial contest
A Springbank High School student won a free laptop without even realizing he was entered into a contest, reports Rocky View Weekly. He was invited to take part in an online course that teaches basic financial skills and gives a chance to get a free laptop or a free iPad for those who give the maximum number of correct answers. The winner, Andrew Pyle, who signed up for the course as part of his CALM class, was totally surprised that he won a free computer. In order to win a free laptop, the students had to score 100 per cent on a financial quiz that follows the course. The organizers hope that new laptops will allow the winners to create financial plans for themselves, start planning for their financial future and track their finances better. If you enjoyed this post, please consider to leave a comment or subscribe to the feed and get future articles delivered to your feed reader.
